France Vapotage and the Confederation of tobacconists are launching a campaign this summer for distributors of vaping products, recalling that vaping products are exclusively for adults.
France Vapotage, the federation of manufacturers of vaping products, and the Confederation of tobacconists, which brings together a network of 24 500 businesses, have joined forces to carry out a campaign to demonstrate that as vape actors, manufacturers as distributors, have the will to be part of a responsible approach.

French regulations rightly prohibit the sale and distribution of vaping products to minors. While the regular use of vaping products among this public remains very much in the minority and is not a gateway to tobacco, there are fears about the increase in youth vape experimentation.
In this context it seems fundamental to remind and underline the responsible commitment of our entire sector to ensure that those under the age of 18 can not access vaping products.
The Confederation des Buralistes and all the members of France Vapotage are very attached to this principle. The French Vapotage Charter includes among the 10 commitments of its members that of " refrain from any marketing practices that may attract children and minors".
France Vapotage and the Confederation of tobacconists invite all actors, manufacturers and distributors, to support their joint initiative to remind that vaping is only for adults.
