In most European countries it is forbidden to use an e-cigarette on a train, just as smoking is forbidden. In Wales, a man does not seem to have appreciated the confiscation of his equipment of vape by a controller, this one received several shots by the offender once the train arrived.
This news item took place in Wales on 13 last May. In a train that ran between Cardiff Central and Chester, a man uses his e-cigarette while it's forbidden.
The controller of the train concerned then asks her to stop using her electronic cigarette before confiscating it for the remainder of the journey, stating that she would return it at the end of the trip. At the arrival of the train in Cwmbran, the e-cigarette is returned to the passenger but while she is caring for a disabled person, the controller is caught in the throat and beaten several times.
Frightened, shaken and with several scratches on her face, the train controller obviously alerted the rail police. Since the man was not apprehended, the British Transport Police (BTP) published an image of the man as part of the investigation.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: " Violence will never be tolerated and our agents are working hard to have a resolution to this incident".
