After BNP Paribas and more recently Natixis, it is now the Dutch management Robeco that will abandon investment in tobacco.
Dutch management Robeco will, as others have done before, abandon investment in tobacco. This sector is obviously already excluded from the socially responsible funds of the company, but it will be excluded in the future from the other main funds and delegated funds. The exclusion concerns all listed companies that are involved in the production of tobacco or in important elements of cigarettes. The process will be completed during the third quarter of 2018.
Robeco had 161 billion euros in assets under management at 31 December 2017, including 100 MdsE incorporating ESG criteria.
