In the United States, the sale of e-cigarettes will once again be subject to certain restrictions. This is the case in New York State where the sale of all "tobacco products" whose vaping products are no longer authorized in pharmacies since May 18.
New York therefore becomes the second state in the country to restrict the sale of tobacco products in pharmacies and the fourth state to restrict the sale of e-cigarettes.
It also reduces the number of stores selling tobacco products in each community, a supposedly effective way to support smokers who want to quit smoking and to reduce young people's exposure to the marketing of tobacco products.
