Helvetic Vape, the Swiss association of users of personal vaporizers announces by an official statement that they will be received at the beginning of March at the Federal Palace. Here is their release:
« The 9 and 10 March 2016, the president of the association Mr Olivier Théraulaz and the spokesperson of the association for the German-speaking Switzerland, Mr Phil Scheck, will be in the enclosure of the Federal Palace to inform the Federal Parliamentarians on the vaping products, reducing the risks associated with nicotine consumption and the potential benefits of vaping for public health.
On this occasion, they will discuss the draft regulation of vaping in our country with elected federal officials. The current Tobacco Products Bill (LPTab) equates vaping products with combustible tobacco products. This project is before the Commission of Social Security and Public Health of the Council of States (CSSS-E). It should be debated in Parliament by the end of the year. »
