UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: A new law announces the imminent end of the ban on e-cigarettes!

Good news is looming for vapers from the United Arab Emirates and the city of Dubai! If there is still a year and a half, the e-cigarette was not clearly not welcomeit seems about to change thanks to a new law! 


NEW STANDARDS AND AN AMENDMENT TO THE REGULATIONS!


Until now, the sale of electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) including electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco devices has been prohibited under United Arab Emirates federal law. But good news, the situation is about to change and by mid-April vaping will finally become authorized in Dubai.

Indeed, on Saturday February 16, the UAE Standardization and Metrology Authority (Esma) approved new standards for nicotine and e-cigarettes. A change in the regulations was confirmed on Sunday.

It was also clarified that all the components of nicotine e-liquids used in electronic cigarettes would be regulated, this should concern the list of ingredients, import, packaging and labeling of products.
