If in France the government has decided to consider vaping as “essential” during confinement, this is still not the case in the United Kingdom, which has preferred to impose the closure of shops selling e-cigarettes and vaping products.
VAPE SHOPS ARE NOT “ESSENTIAL”
In order to reduce social contact, the UK regulations forces some businesses to close and places restrictions on others. To stay open, a business must be on the government's designated “essential businesses” list.
Following the 2.0 confinement decided in the United Kingdom, vape shops or even kiosks offering tobacco are considered non-essential and must remain closed. In this same list of “sacrificed” businesses we find clothing and household goods stores as well as electronic and mobile phone stores.
