This is a surprising and amazing sight coming from the state of Oregon in the United States. In fact, a new law has changed the legal age for the purchase of tobacco and electronic cigarettes by adjusting it to the marijuana regulations.
The state of Oregon in the United States has therefore decided to increase the minimum age necessary to buy tobacco and e-cigarettes passing for 18 at 21 years, which corresponds to the current regulations for the sale of marijuana products.
The new law, signed last Wednesday by Governor Kate Brown, forbids anyone under 21 from buying tobacco products and vaping products, and makes suppliers responsible for unauthorized sales.
The current age limit in the state to buy tobacco products and vaping products is currently 18 years, it will change to 21 years from the 1er January 2018.
